Ancient cultures have always known that beauty comes from the inside out. Common sense would tell us that treating the underlying cause of why someone is aging is preferable to masking the symptoms and allowing further decay and dysfunction to continue within the body. With this highly effective method of Facial Rejuvenation, one can simultaneously benefit a person's appearance and overall health. This unique course will train practitioners to customize a facial rejuvenation treatment by utilizing an Oriental Medical approach. The student will learn how to assess what meridians are involved in the various ways that individuals manifest the aging process in the body. Point selection and needle technique will be taught for conditions such as acne, dry skin, sagging skin, wrinkles, scars, double chins, as well as bags and dark circles under the eyes. Chinese Herbal patent formulas will also be taught to specifically augment this kind of acupuncture treatment and these conditions.
Jump start your practice and save your patients from unnecessary surgery. Learn how to help your patients look and feel better by treating their internal cause of disease and aging with special emphasis on rejuvenating the face.
NOTE: Be prepared to give and receive a Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture Treatment. Please dress for a full body treatment. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring patients to treat on Sunday at 3:00pm. Patient "consent forms" must be completed and on file a week prior to the workshop. Certification from Ms. Doran is optional and may be granted to students who pass both a written and practical exam.
